AGD+M was established at the new Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University, which was founded after the Velvet Revolution in 1994.

It is the only academic institution in the field of computer science that has created such an interdisciplinary space creating fertile ground for expanding knowledge of digital and graphic design in the Czech Republic. The first pedagogue entrusted with the management of the Studio was Assoc. Vítězslav Švalbach, who worked here until 2012. Photographers Jiří Víšek and Igor Šefr also worked here as teachers. Since the establishment of the Atelier, the teaching of graphic design, typography and lettering has expanded to include other subjects that respond to the rapid development of digital media.

We welcome everyone to our studio!
