The course is divided into several groups in each semester. Group PV257/01 deals with the graphic design of commissions for Masaryk University or external clients. Three projects, which take the form of a competition, are most often implemented per semester. Students participate in a brief with the client, work independently on the designs that they consult with the teacher, then present these designs to the client in the form of an annotated presentation. Under the guidance of the teacher, the winner then prepares the selected design for implementation. Through the processing of real graphic orders, students will experience the work of professional graphic designers. They will learn about workflow and time management and test their communication skills by discussing the assignment and defending their designs.
